Overview

A growing retail chain was running its online store and inventory system on aging on-premise servers that buckled during every seasonal sale.

The Challenge

Peak-season traffic crashed the site for hours, costing sales and trust. Costs were unpredictable, backups were manual, and scaling meant buying hardware weeks in advance.

The Solution

We designed a cloud architecture on Azure, containerized the applications, and migrated in controlled stages with zero customer-facing downtime. Auto-scaling, a CDN, and automated backups were built in from day one.

How we verify success

Before implementation, we agree on a baseline and acceptance criteria. Performance, security checks, recovery tests, and operational handover are documented against that baseline. No improvement figure is claimed here without a verified measurement.

ERP Recovery When Encrypted Files Kept Their Names

Four months after ransomware encrypted the ERP system an operating business runs on, and after several repair attempts, it was still down. A previous contractor had produced clean copies of its databases, but on a newer SQL Server version the system could not use; we moved that data to the version this installation needed, rebuilt the system on clean, isolated infrastructure and handed it over running, with its business records verified.
