Overview

A restaurant group where each branch counted stock separately and head office reconciled by hand.

The Challenge

Six branches on the same point-of-sale product but separate databases. Purchasing cannot see which branch is about to run out, waste surfaces at the end of the month rather than the end of the shift, and the accountant rebuilds the same spreadsheet every week from six exports.

The Solution

A middleware service pulls each branch transactions on a schedule and writes them into one stock ledger, with recipe-level consumption so a sold dish decrements its ingredients. Reorder thresholds are set per branch and raise a purchase request automatically. The weekly spreadsheet is replaced by a dashboard reading the same ledger.

How we verify success

Before implementation, we agree on a baseline and acceptance criteria. Performance, security checks, recovery tests, and operational handover are documented against that baseline. No improvement figure is claimed here without a verified measurement.

ERP Recovery When Encrypted Files Kept Their Names
